Oh Anticipation...

I just figured I may as well get a fair amount of posting in before new baby Grace arrives. I know it will be slow for a while after.
I was just realizing how fast the due date is coming up. Less than three weeks, which for me means, HOPEFULLY, about two weeks until delivery. That would be great. It's getting very exciting around here. Lots of little things getting done like buying tiny diapers, making sure blankets and new clothes are washed and ready for her, talking to Josiah a bunch about baby Grace, cleaning, thinking, and the list goes on. I think every expecting mom can say that they never feel 100% ready for bringing the baby home. But I do feel very relaxed and am enjoying the last bit of time with just Josiah. He has been so much fun the last few days. I thank the Lord for that every day. I still need continuing miraculous patience, but most days I can keep my cool. The weather being nice helps that a lot. I can happily boot the dog out and know she is enjoying herself. Opening the curtains to let in sun instead of gray, cold light is wonderful! We are working little bits outside getting the property cleaned up, weeds burned, and the chicken coupe ready for chicks. The eagerness for the new baby keeps me wanting to stay busy. We will be proud to post pictures of the baby sooner than I think I realize. So stay tuned!
