I have been looking at my blog for the past couple weeks thinking, "I have no idea what to blog about." So rather than feeling like I have to put a picture up, I decided to just post a general update. Joe and I are currently in the house market. We put in an offer on a home with some land. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath with 5 acres. It is roughly 1300 sq ft. The home was built in the 1980's and is very sturdy. The foundation and walls are in good shape. It was repossessed and the previous owners didn't take care of it at all, so there is alot of work to be done if our offer is accepted. There is an orchard of probably 20 apple trees on the property. It does have full irrigation rights and we have spoken with a few of the neighbors about the well and irrigation. They all said that there is always plenty of water. That was encouraging. We took our time decidiing if this would be our ideal home. We have left it in the Lord's hands from there. If we get it, then we will put our hard work and joy into it, knowing the Lord blessed us. If our offer is not accepted, then we will take it as God's answer and continue looking elsewhere.
I am also working on getting my Washington license to do hair. I have mailed all of hte paperwork, so in the next month I should have my license. I am planning on working part time. God has decided to space our children a bit farther apart than we had planned, so it's a great opportunity to get back out in the community and enjoy my profession. This has been a busy month, since we decided to start looking for homes. It could be an incredibly busy few months coming up if we do get this home. I am going to Texas for a visit at the end of February with my mom and Josiah. I have been looking forward to seeing Dan, Jenn and the boys. Josiah should enjoy some boy playmates. He is doing well and learning little words and sounds everyday. He really keeps me entertained. He is more compliant and listens better everyday. That has been a blessing. He seems so eager to please us. He will be a great oldest sibling. Well, that is all the information I can think to share. I hope you all are doing well. I will be posting some pictures soon!

That's so exciting about putting an offer on the house. How cool that it has apple trees on it too! I'm looking forward to hearing if this the place God wants you to be or if there's still something else out there. That's really nice that you have your hair cutting license for some part time income. Great to get an update on you guys!
